E a velha respondeu:
E o corvo respondeu:
- Sei sim. e tu, sabes quem sou?
- Eu, eu sou a Morte.
E disse a Morte:
A Morte respondeu:
A festa durou 12 dias e 12 noites.
- Agora, vem passear comigo.
O rapaz respondeu:

(Version in english)
Once upon a time there was a old woman that had two grandsons, a boy and a girl. Certain day, the boy, when arriving home, not finding his sister, asked the old one:
- Grandmother, what is made of mine little sister?
E the old one answered:
- I ordered her to go to the forest catch mushrooms to the dinner.
The boy believed and went. But what he did not knew was that the old woman was not his grandmother, but an evil witch who had transformed the girl into a hen, that later she would eat. However, seeing his sister to delay, the boy went to the forest looking for her. And, while he searched, he saw a raven flying over on his head. Then, the boy asked it:

The Death said:

And the boy said:

The raven was changedded into a black horse, that took the boy until house. When they had arrived, the old one was raising the knife to kill the hen-girl. But the Death raised her scythe and cut the life of the old witch. At this moment, the hen became the girl. The brothers had hugged themselves, very happy, and the boy said:
- Now Death, take us for our kingdom.
And the Death obeyed, becoming in to a gigantic black eagle, that took them on their back. When they arrived to the kingdom, their parents, King and Queen, were waiting. So great was the happiness that they made a party, for which had been invited all the Kings and Queens of the world. The party lasted 12 days and 12 nights. But, in 12nd night, the Death went to the boy and said:
- Now, come to take a walk with me.
The boy answered:
- I cannot, nor never I will be able, therefore I still did not appreciate all the wonders of my kingdom of the perfection.
And the Death went.
Passed 9 days, the young prince looked through the window and saw, taking a walk in his gardens, one beautifull girl, all dressed with black. He went to her and he invited her to go to see his kingdom. She acceded.
When they entered in the ways of the mountain ranges, the girl gave to her hand to him and said:
- Now, we're going for my kingdom.
- How is your kingdom called? - the boy asked.
- Kingdom of Death - answered the girl that, after all,  was the disguised Death, that came to usufruct of her part of the deal.
It's what it is. Does not have title.
Two years ago, our portuguese teacher told us to made a traditional tale (those children stories like "Beauty and the beast" or "The sleeping beauty"). Ut was supposed to be an exercise. The enunciation of the exercise was:
"Elaborate a text (based in the structure of the traditional tale) with the next characteristics:
1 - TIME: medieval or future
2 - SPACE: Rural or imaginated
3 - CHARACTERS: young girl, young boy, one fantastic being, an old woman
4 - ACTION: The hero find the fantastic being and makes a deal..."

This was one of the "perfect traditional tales, full of simbologies and very good speech". Don't say that the teacher did not said that, because he did!

Hope you like!
